Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation at provides a medically supervised program offering exercise, health education and behavior modification for individuals who have experienced a heart event or are at high risk for coronary disease. We offer cardiac rehabilitation in 2 phases to benefit your cardiac or high risk patients. Pulmonary Rehab is available for patients with chronic lung disease. All participants are supervised by an ACLS certified RN. A physician is required for all participants.

Phase II participants are monitored by telemetry during exercise with a maximum staff to patient ratio of 1:5. They are educated about their disease process, medications and life style modification including diet counseling with our registered dietician and vocational rehabilitation counseling is available. Generally this is a 12 week program meetings 3 times a week.

Admission criteria include:

• Stable post MI-up to 12 months
• Stable agina pectoris
• Post operative cardiovascular surgery (CABG, PTCA, Valve replacement)

These are covered by most insurance including Medicare and Medicaid.

Phase III participants are supervised during exercise with an emphasis on a life long healthy lifestyle. They are offered group education with individualized sessions provided as needed. These sessions are not covered by insurance but cost less than $5.00 per session. Post Phase II participants are encouraged to continue in Phase III.

Any patient at risk for coronary disease is eligible including but not limited to: Diabetes, Hypertension, Hypercholesterolemia, Obesity

Pulmonary Rehabilitation is available for patients with a chronic but stable lung disease. Exercise and education are designed especially for this patient population. This is covered by most insurance companies.
