The entrance to the Registration Office and Emergency Department is conveniently located under the canopy to the right, rear of the hospital, off of Cottingham Blvd. Our Registration and Emergency Departments are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
To reduce your registration time, please have your physician orders, insurance cards, a picture ID and your social security number with you when reporting to the hospital for any and all exams or direct admits.
During your registration, information and authorization will be needed for your medical record and for financial arrangements. All information will be handled confidentially. You may call our Registration office (843) 479-2881 extension 3271 to get an estimated charge you may owe for any co-pays, deductibles, or co-insurances. If you do not have insurance coverage, you must make a deposit prior to your Service (non-emergency) and have satisfactory arrangements made for payment of any balance due. The hospital accepts cash, check, money order, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover for prepayments and the estimated portion of your bill which is due upon admission.
You will be seen by our Registration staff according to your appointment time in the different departments of the hospital. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment time. If you are having Lab work or an X-Ray, you may have to wait a few minutes while we take care of the patients with appointments. Please be patient with us, we will get with you as soon as possible.
If you are coming in for surgery, the Surgical Services Department has given your physician office a time for you to report for your pre-operative testing. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to that time so the Registration Staff will have time to complete your paperwork before your pre-operative testing time. Be sure to bring a list of any medication or past surgeries you may have had, and your advance directive if you have one.
All patients are admitted to Marlboro Park Hospital without regards to race, creed, color, sex, religion, ancestry, sexual orientation, marital status, nationality, economic status, educational background, or the source of payment for care.
