Clergy and Prayer Ministries

Clergy of all faiths are permitted to visit on an individual patient basis.  Clergy are not permitted to stroll from room to room for the purpose of visiting patients who are not members of their church.

Should a patient or the family wish to have a visit by the clergy or have their clergy contacted, the primary nurse in charge of the patient's care will convey the message to a minister.

Clergy visiting patients in the critical care area may be granted visitation privileges, other than the regular visiting time by the patient's nurse.  The clergy should call extension 3345 and speak to the nurse assigned to the patient.  The nurse will allow visitation as soon as possible and will explain the reason for delay/non-admittance.

Please complete the Disclosure of Information to Clergy Consent Form at the time of registration if you would like us to contact your personal pastor.  You may also ask your primary nurse to contact your personal pastor upon admission.
